URGENT ATTENTION NEEDED!
I have just had a GUTFUL of authorities telling us what we can and can't do at their petty whims.
Norfolk Island's legally prescribed supply of medicinal cannabis is being interfered with by the Australian Border Force who unexpectedly seized every delivery of medicinal cannabis since 16 October, leaving some vulnerable residents without their essential medication.
For 18 months, we've had seamless access, and this sudden reversal is because the head of Border Force has decided to unnecessarily tamper with the system and now relies on a legal technicality that says patients can bring cannabis onto the island on their person, but not have it sent via Australia Post via their licensed supplier on the mainland. Absolutely fucking ridiculous.
I desperately need your help to put a spotlight on this issue. Lives could be genuinely at stake. Cannabis is used for cancer, seizures, depression, anxiety, chronic pain and so much more.

It's Jaw Dropping info when you know the truth about the legality of alcohol and tobacco addictions (both go hand in hand with some users) and the illnesses and deaths they cause and from which taxes are collected from there uses and increased by the government every six months to boost their income.The present tax grab is about 47% on each drink you buy at the present cost. The fact that alcohol is legal and creates life threating diseases from it's use is accepted so it can employ the medical industry and hospitals to earn there income from it by perpetuating employment and more tax gathering from there wages for the governments coffers. A alcohol high in Australian slang is known as getting pissed (drunk) and you wonder why people get sick in the end! Hypothetically consider if your animal pets urinated alcohol would you drink it? Or it's to uncouth to contemplate such a thought? There's no difference to the yeast theory being a non animal but a fungus and which society accepts. So drinking also causes an increase in amounts needed as the addiction takes hold. It also can cause violent arguments, vomiting and those hang overs the next day which should be enough to make the average mind to think that this is a warning of the damage to the brain and internal body functions as well. Alcohol is a solvent it dissolves the THC resin from cannabis and is a diuretic which both absorb and dissolves the bodies fluids and in time shrinks the brain and your skin and other organs while draining vitamins and nutrients out of your body at the same time for you to urinate it all out. Many lose there hair so all that loss makes your appearance to show your ageing prematurely from such a habitual habit by your long term usage with your liver being the first organ to fail as it treats alcohol as a toxin to the body and it's self. It is an expensive unhealthy addiction causing a drinker a premature death or it is particularly hazardous when you try to drive to possible having a car accident or an auto killing from another drunken driver on the road. It could be called a slow suicide path through life being an alcoholic drinker and more so if you smoke tobacco's nicotine at the same time! The author has a small amount of red wine to have a change now and then at home. Cannabis can be used to block the high from alcohol by doing a cone of cannabis soon after drinking the alcohol causing it to fade. The author prefers not to drink because of it changing the authors attitude to being aggressive and having to urinate frequently and to avoid a following hang-over. Citizens should be allowed the use the non aggressive cannabis alternative high and it's appetising stimulant to eat healthy foods and to avoid junk foods.
The quickest way to come down instantly from a bad cannabis high (tobacco added in?) is to eat some healthy food.
Addictive Tobacco You can live with out it!
There is an alternative as the author knows and is not addictive! It is a more pleasant psychological insight high!
Another habitual habit causing disease and addiction is tobacco's nicotine causing lung cancer and other related illnesses. This is another taxed product the government heavily taxes and it's updates every six months for a tax increase like alcohol and Oz passports there a tax grab. Canada now prints a warning on each individual cigarette to make people aware of their health destroying habitual habit. Present friends who gave up 40 years ago are now suffering from their past use of tobacco with bouts of lung problems and other health problems. Recently a friend die from his past habit where he couldn't walk more than a few feet and would have to stop as he was out of breath. The same goes for using cannabis after sixty years usage, but cannabis does not cause lung cancer. We are all individuals with different DNA so there is different reactions to different substances to compare to another person. It's claimed that alcohol is more dangerous than tobacco or cannabis use!

- There's 33 tobacco smokers being tested, 23 less than the 56 of cannabis users! Nearly a 50% difference and so a bias test to all of this study!
This is the same attitude of the British home office insinuating it's time "to scare them the citizens" by reclassifying cannabis into a "Class A" drug listings with heroin, methamphetamine, opium and some prescription drugs. The present UK government has a mega phobia about cannabis, this could be another reason why they left the Europeans because they are going to legalise cannabis starting with Germany and many more countries following or having a referendum for citizens to decide on, and also due to the fact of missing out on getting extra taxes from decriminalising cannabis.
Distal-acinar emphysema or Para-septal emphysema are the rarest emphysema to get. If infected it eventually creates a huge hole at the top of the lungs causing a collapsed lung in the end. This is also rare to get even with tobacco users as cancer is their main worry. Some people can have either without knowing it by breathing in second hand cigarette smoke and or polluted air or both. Tobacco smoke stains the smoking rooms ceiling and the person body odour and breath smells while it sticks to there clothing and curtains plus other fittings. People die from smoking tobacco in bed. Citizens lungs can be terminal by also breathing in while cutting and handling stone and marble tops with out a mask and the people could also smoke cannabis or tobacco with or with out menthol to relax from.

- There's 23 less of tobacco smokers again. If you smoke a joint (cigarette) of cannabis it's a hot method and directly into the lungs uncleaned. This can be avoided by using a small pipe or a water pipe (a bong) which cools and filters the smoke with even the water cooler or bong getting a coating of smoke internally (see photos below) before you draw it into the lungs without heat or fibre just a cool clean cannabis smoke. It also can be due to inhaling all of the packed cone of cannabis in one inhale by over blowing the lungs (stretching) which is not normal trying to get it all in, to blow out a huge amount of wasted other highs in the smoke (see photos below) which seems to be the way these days. This is why the youth of these days are having lung problems earlier, as there not inhaling properly and being wasteful. It could be showing off in front of peers (a bit like the gorilla syndrome by expanding the chest to then thump chest with fists to get attention) . It can be due to reduced male hormones (testosterone) (the author had a slight case of in teens and now as age takes hold with testosterone lowering in the body) with an increase in female hormones (oestrogen). Women have a similar situation by gaining facial hair and other changers. Some other causes: puberty, ageing, medications and health conditions. It would be interesting to know if it happens to females smokers breasts. It's basically the same with chronic chain tobacco smokers, coughing and wheezing to look forward to the future with lung cancer (not with cannabis) which a past friend seems to have as well as emphysema, towards their end the person couldn't walk more than 11 steps as he was exhausted.The author has been smoking cannabis so long (with some time off), has a slight sign of emphysema and doesn't worry about it at his age as all past friends and younger than the author are buried with alcoholism and were heavy tobacco smokers. Plus he has been eating healthily all his life and avoided all the packaged processed foods and particularly sugar loaded junk foods and there sauces which generates obesity and diabetes from eating the food and drinking fizz drinks.The processers are only interested in grabbing your money and not your health. Sugar (is not natural, is $1 a kilo) is addictive and is added as a cheap weight and sweetness in processed foods, and drinking fizz drinks are an expensive way to drink water by a concocted water process verging on water pollution.This knowledge backs up about healthy eating and what the authors been doing before this article showed up and needs to verify the facts.The author is not on any medications and is benefiting from healthy living.The taking of vitamins to counter the effects of lung damage can lower the smoking damage of cannabis. The American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine concludes that vitamin "C" helps in protecting the lungs and also reduces the risk of developing Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), an inflammatory lung disease. Emphysema and chronic bronchitis are the most common conditions that make up COPD. Damage to the lungs from COPD can't be reversed! The author had discovered this aid of vitamin C a few years ago before I discovered the Doctors article recently which verified my findings. A normal lung capacity is about 6 litres down to about 80% with ageing or about 4.8 litres as some air stays in the lungs after exhaling. Vitamin C is water soluble so chewing or sucking a pill (20 cents each) makes it easy and better than sugary lollies making fat. The daily requirement is 2,000mg daily for the pills. There available up to 300 pills in a packaged for $16.50. Vitamin C last about 10 to 20 days in the body so it's not permanently stored in the body so author takes a pill every 6 hours and not including daily fruits and vegetables with vitamin C. Don't count on getting much vitamin C from any junk food outlets or drinking fizz drinks. Vitamin C makes adsorbing all other vitamins easier. Excessive use of vitamin C can produce stones in the kidneys, so 2,000mg daily and you will notice the difference with in a month plus if you eat healthily as well it's an added bonus. In the old days cannabis was given to alcoholics because it gave them an appetite or the munches to eat food which the author finds is a good attribute of cannabis. I had next door once a temporary street dossing dweller who would have a bottle of methylated spirits (ethanol) and half a loaf of bread left where he dossed daily at the time. I asked him what was the both for. He said because the methylated spirits (ethanol) had a blue dye in it to prevent drinking of the fluid, he had the bread to use it as a filter to pour the ethanol through it to remove the dye so he could drink the ethanol. A little time later I heard he had die.

The researchers found similar results among age-matched subgroups, where the rates of emphysema and airway inflammation were again higher in marijuana smokers.

Where cannabis is naturally obtained compared to the highly processed and destruction to the environment in making alcohol. It's a huge money making commerce and a feature in the hotels and clubs plus there poker machines which keeps the corrupt clubs going and the laundering of money through the poker machines yes it does happen as the author has learnt from visiting various clubs.

5: Rates of hardening of the arteries, which can trigger heart attacks and strokes, were the same as cigarette smokers.
She said: "The fact our marijuana smokers some of whom also smoked tobacco - had additional findings of airway inflammation/chronic bronchitis suggests marijuana has additional synergistic effects on the lungs above tobacco.
"In addition, our results were still significant when we compared the non-age-matched groups, including younger patients who smoked marijuana and who presumably had less lifetime exposure to cigarette smoke." The young youth shouldn't smoke or drink till 25yrs as brain is immature earlier Marijuana is smoked unfiltered while tobacco cigarettes are usually filtered. This results in more particulates reaching the airways.
In addition, marijuana is often inhaled with a longer breath hold and puff volume than tobacco smoke.
Dr. Revah said: "It has been suggested smoking a marijuana joint deposits four times more particulates in the lung than an average tobacco cigarette. These particulates are likely airway irritants."
The higher incidence of emphysema may also be due to the way that marijuana is smoked. Full inhalation may lead to trauma and changes in peripheral airspace.
Future research could also look at the impact of different inhalation techniques, such as through a bong, a joint, or a pipe.
Dr. Revah added: "It would be interesting to see if the inhalation method makes a difference."

Atherosclerosis is the hardening of the arteries or narrowing is a build up of plaque, cholesterol, fat and high blood pressure in the arteries lining, leads to heart attack and stroke can be less severe by having a good diet, not over drinking alcohol and exercising. It can not be reverse if it's detected. Tobacco smokers smoke more frequently (chain smokers excessively) than a cannabis only smoker/s. Tobacco causes lung cancer+ and more so if menthol is in the tobacco (not mentioned in the Talker News rhetoric) and which when both are combined creates more deaths than cannabis. Menthol is an organic compound, obtained in mint plants or synthetically and is known to be very addictive. Menthol and nicotine used over time causes respiratory problems and depending on your genes for any other problems. The menthol addiction is because it causes a synergistic effect by increasing and multiplying of the same brain receptors that nicotine binds to in the brain which is now desiring more and dependent on both addictions. Menthol specifically causes exacerbations of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease from tobacco and menthol cigarettes. Compared to non menthol smokers. Both are addictive and cause severe lung inflammation, the American government is banning it's use in cigarettes. If it's in the tobacco and mixed in with cannabis this would exacerbate lung problems and particularly in the youth. Especially if they are inhaling the lung busting use of a fully packed cone in one go to blow out in most examples a huge cloud of wasted highs in the excess smoke blown out. Full inhalation of a full loosely filled cone with or without tobacco (adding tobacco can give an added false spin to the cannabis buzz to a non user of tobacco and could spin them out and confuse the cannabis high and could turn out a bummer or freak out and could turn them off cannabis, so it's good to know if they use tobacco and "what is know as a false spin" when combined with cannabis. The quantity of cannabis only is about a 1/4 of a joint in volume or less rolled loosely in to a ball and placed into a cone but not packed in. Drawing in a portion of the cone or all of it in one go and holding it in longer is not good for the lungs as it's longer than drawing it in via a tobacco cigarette or a joint making it unnatural by expanding (stretching) the lungs more than normal to expose extra tender lung cells, and speeding up lung damage earlier than normal to then blow out a large volume of wasted smoke highs. Some can over inhale to suddenly explode with a cloud of smoke coughing, and spluttering from mouth and which usually happens when a different stronger cannabis strain is used unexpectedly (an over dose) or by drawing into much in the inhale (over doing it - an over dose), and can cause what is called a "Blow Back" off smoke escaping through the nose to burn and irritate the nerves in the nose causing eye watering pain and all such a waste of smoke highs blown away. The way the author does it is to not cut up a bit of bud (to much handling of bud) but to pinch of a small amount and lightly roll it into a loose small ball to place it (not packed ) in to the cone which gives an easier inhale with no tobacco in the cone. Generally the first inhale is a small amount to test if it's different in strength and taste and to get the flavour of the THC if it's fresh, this is the best way to initially turn on a person for the first time to avoid them having a freak out by turning them on in stages slowly. Just wait a while for the slight rush of the THC to turn them on, after blowing out a small amount of smoke by not over inhaling initially to waste the cannabis by blowing it all away (see photos at end of this reply) or where it could be another follow up high by the proportioning of the cone to have a follow up boost to use instead of a cloud of wasted smoke . Say in a few minutes later you do a top up with the remanding amount again from in the cone if all's well as a final booster.This method doesn't put strain on lungs.The other way is to place a smaller amount in the cone to draw in a lower amount, to then blow out the least amount of smoke by not over inhaling the whole cone in the first inhale. Placing a cover like a coin temporally on top of the cone to smother the remaining cannabis in the cone for a follow up inhale a little later.
A further tip: The hole in the cone is usually to small and restricts a better inhale (a lung buster to use particularly with a packed cone which restricts the inhale) if the hole was re-drill to a hole measuring a minimum of (3.4 mm) or (5/16") to give a better vortex effect when inhaling through the cone. Next up date and the last example of hashish is of the Moroccan hashish with an improvement in it's quality and the one of the big suppliers to the European market.
